Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if brain training is right for me?

+

If you have a brain, you can benefit! Brain training is part of your fitness program: eat right, train your body, train your brain. No diagnosis required.

What makes this different from other neurofeedback?

+

Nonlinear neurofeedback is fundamentally different from traditional neurofeedback. It uses a 4-dimensional (4-D) process (Duration, Intensity, Frequency, and Shifts (DIFS) to provide feedback in real time. Traditional systems typically operate in only 2 dimensions. This approach uniquely measures time-based changes, training the brain for flexibility and resilience in ways other systems cannot.

Is this safe?

+

Yes. This is FDA-designated as a General Wellness Product. It's 100% non-invasive with no known unwanted side effects. Safe for ages 0 to 100+. It works by providing information to the brain rather than pushing or forcing it.

What happens during a session?

+

You sit comfortably for about 30 minutes, listening to music. Five small sensors are placed on your scalp and ears. You'll notice brief pauses in the music. That's feedback being provided. No effort, no concentration. Just relax.

How soon will I notice changes?

+

Everyone's brain is unique. Some notice changes quickly; others take longer. Both are normal. Many people report "more good days than bad" as training progresses.

How many sessions do I need?

+

Results vary from person to person. We recommend starting with 10 to 20 sessions to build a foundation. There's no fixed prescription.

Do I need a diagnosis?

+

No. This approach is diagnostically agnostic. The expertise is built into the system. No diagnosis needed or used.

Can children and seniors benefit?

+

Absolutely. Regular sessions are appropriate for all ages. There's no need to shorten duration based on age. The system adapts to each individual.

Is FSA/HSA accepted?

+

FSA/HSA is accepted for most plans. Check with your administrator. Financing options (Affirm, Klarna) are also available.FSA/HSA is accepted for most plans. Check with your administrator. Financing options (Affirm, Klarna) are also available.

How is this different from therapy?

+

This is brain training, not therapy. We don't diagnose, treat, or cure. The system simply provides your brain with information about its activity, allowing it to self-regulate and adapt.
